Function

Dipotassium salt of glycyrrhizic acid (triterpenoid saponin, Glycyrrhiza glabra). Water-soluble salt form preferred in cosmetic formulations. Anti-inflammatory via phospholipase A2 inhibition; surfactant; skin conditioning. Functionally equivalent to glycyrrhizic acid at equivalent molar doses. Widely used anti-inflammatory and soothing active in sensitive-skin, atopic, and anti-redness formulations.
