Skin conditioning; Antioxidant; Masking; Tonic. Extract obtained from the fruit of the lemon, Citrus limon. Rich in vitamin C, flavonoids (hesperidin, eriocitrin), and citric acid. Functions as an antioxidant and brightening skin conditioning agent. Reported in 571 cosmetic product uses with more than half in leave-on skin care preparations. Typical use concentrations range from 0.0001% to 1.2%.
