Well-characterized, CIR-cleared ingredient with strong anti-inflammatory and soothing efficacy profile. CIR supports up to 5% use concentration with good safety margin given negligible dermal absorption. Eye irritation CLP classification is a manufacturing/occupational hazard designation, not a cosmetic restriction. Use CIR 2007 final report as primary safety dossier reference. COSMOS/ECOCERT eligible if plant-derived from Glycyrrhiza glabra. Suitable for aqueous phase incorporation.
